The 590 Frontier SC has the winning combination of the Apex hull, built for offshore conditions, matched to the pedigree of the Top Ender range all in a side console layout. It makes the 590 Frontier a true purpose-built aluminium fishing machine.
With an overall length of 5.99m and a 2.35m beam, the 590 Frontier can add tough as buggery to the list with 3mm topsides and 5mm bottom sides. It is rated to take you and six of your favourite fishing folk, making it a true family fishing rig or escape with my mates rig.
The Apex hull from Quintrex has wider chines giving it a larger hull surface area. Not only does this give improved speed and grip when cornering, it provides better stability at rest when you need it. If you choose to have the maximum 150 horsepower on the back, you will be flying.
Features on the 590 include anchorwell, live bait tank, so much underfloor storage you won’t know how to fill it. There is also addition storage in the front casting platform which now fits up to a 50lt Esky and this can be optioned to take a whopping 85lt.
Included are three pedestal seats and four seat positions, while the Frontier Side Console is a sturdy and functional unit with grab rail and extra dash space to accommodate your electronics and marine radio. There is also storage underneath for essentials like a phone and ham and pickle sandwiches.
The Quintrex 590 Frontier Side Console may as well be named the winner of fishing boat of the year already. It has so much going for it.
